Welcome to the Island
SpankIsland explores the places, communities, technology, creativity, and culture found throughout virtual worlds.
Here you will find stories, guides, photography, project journals, destinations, and experiments inspired by online worlds and the people who bring them to life.
Second Life is one important part of the journey, but the island is not limited to a single platform. As new virtual spaces and creative tools emerge, SpankIsland will continue exploring them.
The site is growing one project and one adventure at a time. New stories and discoveries will be added along the way.
